Join local forager, Lindsey Coyne for a stroll at Purple Martin.
Meet near the parking lot, by the purple Martin birdhouses.
Walk is 10-11 AM.
We will discuss foraging safely, laws regarding foraging and Lindsey will identify many edible spring plants and ephemerals, as well as identifiable mushrooms and trees. Feel free to bring your Iowa plant questions!
I hope to continue to offer these walks as a donation based resource for our community. I want foraging to be accessible to everyone who wants to learn.
Suggested donation: $15-$35 per person
This trail is not paved and participants are encouraged to stay on the trail. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and terrain. Everyone is welcome!
