4th Annual San Marcos Studio Tour 2026

SAN MARCOS, TX – Dive into the vibrant arts scene of San Marcos with the highly-anticipated 4th Annual San Marcos Studio Tour. This year’s showcase features the work of over 87 talented artists from the greater San Marcos area. The San Marcos Studio Tour will occur over two weekends: Saturday, April 4th - Sunday, April 5th as well as Saturday April 11th - Sunday April 12th. The free city-wide celebration of creativity invites locals and visitors alike to explore the unique spaces where art comes to life.

The excitement begins on Friday, April 3rd, at 7:00 PM, with a Kick Off Party at , the hub of the San Marcos Studio Tour. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with local artists, preview the artists on tour in our Group Exhibition, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of art, conversation, live music performances, and community connection.

The San Marcos Studio Tour offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the creative chaos within artists' studios—spaces where inspiration thrives and masterpieces are born. From paint-splattered floors and walls covered in reference photos to clay-caked ceramic wheels and bustling wood and metal workshops, each studio visit offers a glimpse into the heart of the creative process. This year, attendees will have two weekends to explore a dynamic array of at-home studios, warehouse workshops, and pop-up installations across San Marcos.

The immersive tour not only highlights the talent of local artists but also fosters meaningful connections between the arts and the broader community. In addition to open studios, participants can enjoy live art demonstrations, interactive experiences, and special events hosted by local partners.
