Matagorda Slam Fishing TournamentJoin us for the Matagorda Slam Fishing Tournament, a 2–4 person team event held on the Texas coast in Matagorda. The tournament features competitive fishing, Calcutta action, and a structured weigh-in, all supporting a great cause.
Captain’s Meeting & Calcutta:
Thursday, April 23
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Rusty Hook Ranch
Rudy’s Bar-B-Q will be served during the meeting.
The Captain’s Meeting will cover tournament rules, format, and procedures, followed by the Calcutta Auction.
Tournament Day:
Friday, April 24
Teams may launch from the location of their choice and fish anywhere in legal waters.

Tournament Format
• Teams of 2–4 anglers
• Open Bait and Artificial Bait divisions
• Stringer format consisting of:
– 2 Redfish
– 2 Trout
– 1 Flounder
Calcutta Auction
• Optional participation
• Held during the Captain’s Meeting
• Calcutta payouts are separate from tournament entry fees
Optional Side Pots
• Big Red
• Big Trout
• Big Flounder
• Most Spots on a Redfish
$50 per side pot, 100% payback
