Join the Ramapogue Historical Society at the Josiah Day House for it's fourth annual Fall Festival! With blacksmithing and open hearth cooking demonstrations, kids crafts, and tours of the Josiah Day House, this event has become a staple within West Springfield. Admission to this event is free for all, and we encourage children to wear their Halloween costumes and "trick or treat" around the different historical societies that will be tabling at the Day House.Guests can also take a tour of the Park Street Cemetery, found next to the First Congregational Church on Park Street! Just a few buildings down from the Josiah Day House, learn about the history of West Springfield from the perspective of people who once lived here. You'll hear stories of those buried in the cemetery, with tea lights lighting the graves of those whose stories are being told.
