Ready for takeoff? DroneFest is back—and bigger, louder, and way more fun.This high-energy, family-friendly event is built for future pilots, tech lovers, and curious minds in grades 6–12 (ages 11–19)… but let’s be honest, adults will have just as much fun.
What’s happening:
• Live drone demos that’ll make you look twice
• Hands-on drone license training (yes, you can actually start the process here)
• 30+ booths featuring heavy hitters like FAA, Air Marshals, CMPD, Duke, NCDOT, CPCC, and more
• A can’t-miss appearance by SNOOPY, CMPD’s helicopter
Fuel for the mission:
• Hot dogs & hamburgers fresh off the grill
• Raffle prizes (grab tickets on site and try your luck)
