American Legion Post 75, located directly across the street from NWFL State College at 898 E James Lee Blvd, will be having the 4th Annual “Claim the Tail”Crawfish Competition on Saturday, April 11, 2026 and participating in the "Shell Shocked Series" Crawfish Boil Tournament. The crawfish boil competition starts at noon and runs until 4pm. Team entry fee is $200.00 (depending on price of crawfish this may increase or decrease) which includes 1 bag of crawfish. The deadline to enter the competition is Monday, April 6th.
For those just wanting to show up and eat, you can do that too. There will be approximately 1,000lbs of crawfish, 50lbs of shrimp, and hot dogs to eat.
This is a crawfish boil competition with awards and bragging rights up for grabs with all new Judging Criteria.
Please be prepared to cook at least 3 bags. Crawfish will be provided.
