HELLO AGAIN EVERYONE!!!!WE ARE ONLY 5 MONTHS AWAY FROM OUR 4TH ANNUAL CHI-HI ALUMNI BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 🏀
We are back again to build on a 3rd successful year!
Congrats again to last year's champion: 2017-2019
Last year we had 8 teams compete in the two day tournament. We will be looking to expand the tournament again this year by adding two (2) teams to reach an initial goal of ten (10), after that we will look at getting to twelve (12) teams!
The number of teams we get in the end, will drive the tournament format and organization of teams within the bracket.
Something new I want for this year is a bigger planning committee. We currently have 2 people who plan, organize, communicate everything.
I NEED 3 EXTRA PEOPLE (5 TOTAL) ON THE PLANNING COMMITTEE.
This gives room for more ideas, suggestions, planning, communication, etc. PLEASE CONSIDER!
Also, in an effort to drive our initial costs per team down, we will be open to ideas of team sponsorship, tournament sponsors, etc. We want to help encourage more teams to join by lowering that entry cost.
Many more details to come as we get closer to April.
