Welcome to the Career and Opportunities Fair at the James Lee Community Center! This event is your chance to explore various career paths, network with professionals, and discover exciting job opportunities.
Join the English Empowerment Center as we bring together local companies looking to hire employees and organizations dedicated to supporting the community with services such as employment search, career training, skills development, and professional growth assistance. Make a connection to find a job, receive information on services available to you, and learn how to improve your education and career path!
Translation services available in Spanish, Dari, and Farsi (More languages coming soon!)

Exhibitor Time
Info: Use this time to walk around the Exhibitor hall to meet with all the organizations and employers you are interested in connecting with. Sign Up for Workshops and Practice Interviews. Please head to the registration table to do so.

Practice Interviews
Info: You will be able to sign up for a practice interview once you have registered for the fair. During the practice interview you will be able to practice your interview skills and ask questions to better learn the best interview skills.

Networking Skills Workshops
Info: Learn how to effectively communicate with employers at career fair or other networking events. This workshop will be lead by a volunteer instructor and aides. You will practice skills needed to land a job interview!

Resume Writing Workshop
Info: Learn how to draft or improve your resume. This workshop will be lead by a volunteer instructor and aides. Follow a brief lecture and activites to learn the important parts of a resume and the best information to include.

Exhibitor Networking Mixer
Info: After setting up your table you can unwind and network with other exhibitors. Water and chips will be provided. Bring extra busines cards!

Exhibit Hall (Gyms)
Info: Meet with fair attendees. Exhibitors are free to leave whenever, but are encouraged to stay till at least 6:30 PM. Tear down will start at 7 PM, but you are welcome to take your time to meet with the remaining students.
