RESUMEN EN ESPAÑOL
La 4ta Feria Universitaria es un evento anual diseñado para inspirar a los estudiantes a seguir una educación en STEM (siglas en inglés de ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas). Además, busca equipar a los padres con conocimientos para ayudarlos a navegar el proceso de solicitud de ingreso a la universidad. Este evento contará con:
Stands educativos: Diversas instituciones, como Henry Ford Community College, Wayne County Community College, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Wayne State University, University of Detroit Mercy, brindarán información y orientación a los visitantes.
Organizaciones comunitarias locales: Ofrecerán recursos adicionales para apoyar a la comunidad de Detroit.
Talleres bilingües:
- Sesiones sobre FAFSA y accesibilidad universitaria para facilitar la comprensión de opciones de ayuda financiera.
- Consejos para elegir una universidad y un título universitario.
- Diferencias entre carreras STEM.
Panel de ingeniería bilingüe: Profesionales de ingeniería compartirán experiencias y conocimientos en inglés y español para inspirar y guiar a los estudiantes.
Demostraciones STEM: Actividades prácticas, como la construcción de circuitos de papel con luces LED, diseñadas para fomentar el interés en la ciencia y la tecnología.
Actividades recreativas: Pintacaritas y manualidades para niños más pequeños, creando un espacio inclusivo y divertido para todas las edades

ABOUT THIS EVENT
The 4th Annual College Fair is an event designed to inspire students to pursue STEM education (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and equip parents with knowledge to help them navigate the college application process. We will have the following:
Educational booths will provide resources and information. Previous booths include: Henry Ford Community College, Wayne County Community College, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Wayne State University, and University of Detroit Mercy.
Local community organizations will provide additional information to help the Detroit community
Bilingual Workshops:
- Sessions on FAFSA and college affordability to help students and families understand financial aid options.
- Difference between STEM careers
- Bilingual Engineering Panel: Professionals share insights in English and Spanish to inspire and guide students.
STEM Demonstrations: Hands-on activities such as building paper circuits with LED lights.
