Reconnect with nature, your city, and your community.
About this Event
Join Loco por la Aventura in partnership with TriMet for a unique, multi-modal outdoor adventure through Portland’s iconic 4T Trail Loop—Trail, Tram, Trolley, and Train—a one-of-a-kind experience that combines nature, transportation, and community.
This free, community-centered event is designed to help participants explore Portland from multiple perspectives—through forest trails, city streets, and public transportation systems.
Throughout the experience, participants will learn how to safely and confidently use TriMet services while enjoying a guided hiking route through scenic landscapes, including Council Crest, the highest point in Portland.
Participants will hike, ride the Portland Aerial Tram, use the Portland Streetcar (trolley), and travel on the MAX Light Rail, completing a full loop that showcases the best of the city.
This experience is especially designed to support the Latino community by providing guidance and education in Spanish, while remaining open and welcoming to anyone interested in learning and connecting.
This is more than a hike—it’s an opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, and experience Portland in a whole new way.
