Welcome to the 49th Annual In-Person AHEA Conference!

Join us for two and a half days of engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and insightful discussions at the AHEA Conference. We are excited to partner with the Society for Self-Directed Learning. Connect with education professionals and exchange ideas on the latest trends and practices. We are collaborating with the International Society for Self-Directed Learning (ISSDL) to host our conference and symposium. You will have access to presentations from both AHEA and the ISSDL, essentially giving you two conferences for the price of one!

This year's AHEA conference theme is based on the book Military Veterans Transitioning to Higher Education and the Civilian Workforce: Challenges, Opportunities, Supports, and Resources. Edited By: Yvonne Hunter-Johnson, Timothy J. Ross and Mary V. Alfred.

Many presentations will illuminate veterans' journeys into higher education and the workplace, highlighting their challenges, opportunities, and crucial support systems and resources needed for success. However, proposals did not need to adhere to this theme; they will all pertain to adult and higher education.

We will meet in the TECO hall at 8:30, followed by a group panel or presentation at 9 a.m. The morning sessions will be hosted by AHEA or ISSDL. It may be a leader in adult and higher education or a panel that includes the authors of the book we are using as this year's conference theme. AHEA will have 20+ presentations, with additional presentations by ISSDL.

Cost: USF graduate students and faculty are free; all other graduate students are $150, and all other faculty are $290.00. Remember, when you attend an AHEA conference, you receive a one-year membership to the Alliance. As always, attendees who pay to attend the AHEA in-person conference will receive a copy of the book, and coffee and pastries will be included each morning. Lunch is included at noontime on Wednesday and Thursday.
