About this Event
The Mitchell Lecture proudly continues its legacy of welcoming distinguished and influential voices. This year, we are honored to feature Rev. Dr. Angela D. Sims, President of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, ordained minister, and a nationally recognized scholar and leader.
“The Cost of Truth: The Black Church and the Battle Over Education, Memory, and Identity”
In this timely and thought-provoking lecture, Rev. Dr. Sims will explore how the Black Church has shaped and upholds truth amid ongoing struggles over education, historical memory, and collective identity.
The lecture will be followed by an engaging Q&A session and a shared meal.
Admission is free. A free-will offering will be received in support of the Frank B. Mitchell Scholarship Fund. Your generosity helps us work toward our $7,000 fundraising goal, directly supporting students and the future of theological education.
