About this Event
Welcome to the 42nd Annual Mayor's Interfaith Prayer Breakfast! Join us on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 from 7:30am to 9:00am at Venue 5 Twenty-Two in Lincoln, Nebraska. Doors open for breakfast at 7:30am, with the program starting at 8:00am
Lincoln Mayor, Leirion Gaylor Baird, will be the honorary chair for this event, which is lovingly initiated and put together every year by community volunteers. Join us for a morning of wisdom, sacred readings, and music from the wide variety of faith communities that call Lincoln, Nebraska, home.
Our Keynote speaker will be the Nebraska State Poet Jewel Rogers, a celebrated performer and the author of Wax Over Water. Ms. Rogers will carry this year's theme "Who is My Neighbor", inviting guests to consider how we identify neighbors and treat them with dignity.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, listen to and actively participate in uplifting words and music, and connect with fellow attendees.
Let's come together to celebrate unity through community. See you there!
