America turns 250 — and Santa Cruz runs! Join us for one of the county's most beloved Fourth of July traditions. The legendary 10K features the notorious "Thrill of the Hill" through Pogonip's redwoods. The flat, fast 5K is perfect for families and fully ADA/wheelchair accessible. The 1K Kids' Dash kicks off the morning for our youngest runners.Every finisher receives a Firecracker t-shirt, breakfast burrito, and Izzy's ice cream.
100% of registration fees support local youth through Safe Families for Children Monterey Bay, Hospice of Santa Cruz County's Camp Erin, and the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Foundation.
Race Start Times:
• 8:00 AM — 1K Kids' Dash
• 8:30 AM — 10K
• 8:40 AM — 5K
Bib Pick-Up: Friday, July 3, 3–7 PM at Woodhouse Blending & Brewing, 119 Madrone St. First 200 get a free beer!
