41st ANNUAL CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST RIDETHANKSGIVING DAY - THURSDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2025
We felt that one way for us to show our thanks to all of you, our great customers would be by sponsoring a ride. What day would be more appropriate than THANKSGIVING! So please join us on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2025 for a pair of rides calculated to maximize your appetite. Both rides begin at 7:15 a.m. at Jack Russell Park on Seminole Road in Atlantic Beach, located next to the Atlantic Beach Police Dept.
For the “A” riders [18+ mph] we will leave the park and cross the Mayport Ferry. From the ferry we will cycle north to the Nassau Sound Bridge, on the north side of Big Talbot Island, before
returning via the ferry to Jack Russell Park. Ride distance is about 35 miles. [If you want more miles feel free to go further north towards Fernandina Beach before returning.]
For the rest of the fun loving cyclists, we will have a 19 mile MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE looping Fort George Island. We will also cross the Ferry with the “A” riders. Some of the roads on this ride
will not be paved so we encourage and recommend the use of mountain bikes or some other fat tire cruiser for the ride. From the ferry we will invade Fort George for a pleasant loop around the outer perimeter of the island before returning to Jack Russell Park.
At the completion of the rides, we will meet back at the park for our annual CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST. Champion Cycling will supply the nonalcoholic “bubblies” and a sampling of turkey and we ask you to bring a side dish to share :)
