We will reflect on and celebrate the rich and diverse contributions of the African Diaspora.The African-American Heritage Festival has become a family reunion-style celebration that the community looks forward to every year, complete with entertainment, delectable ethnic foods, shopping in the African marketplace for artifacts, soaps, fragrances, clothing, and more, free health screenings and health awareness information, and financial educational resources, all in one fun-filled day!
The Westchester County Parks Department, Friends of Westchester County Parks, and the Coalition of African-American Organizations in Westchester County are all co-sponsors of the African-American Heritage Festival.
It is one of Westchester County's largest and most fascinating ethnic events, with attendance growing year after year.
