This is a narrative event focusing on the conflict between Ork and Imperial forces fighting along the walls of a great Hive city in the Armageddon subsector. The event consists of three phases of narratively driven missions, played over the course of one day. Narrative games are geared towards interactive, asymmetrical, and high energy games of Warhammer 40k. During this event, players will gain unit upgrades to create epic warriors, showcase their favorite models, and help build community lore.
This registration page has 10 spots specifically reserved for factions playing alongside the Ork alliance (preference for Ork players, but other Chaos & Xenos are welcome!). For those interested in playing Orks but won’t have a full 1.5k army, we have a significant number of units available for free loan use (just reach out to the event coordinators). Once you have registered, be sure to indicate which faction you will be bringing. NOTE: When deciding whether to register, please keep in mind that we depend on full attendance. No shows will have a detrimental effect on the narrative and other player experience.
Participants should prepare a 1500-point army using 11th edition Warhammer 40k rules. Players will match up against players from the other alliance during 3 phases of 40k battles tied together by a larger story and interactions with alliance members. Units may earn upgrades and have mission bonuses based on individual and alliance performance during each round. More details to come!
Registration Cost: $30. $20 goes to store credit prizing, so more players means more payout! The rest of fees goes to event support (e.g. terrain, SWAG).
Five prizes: Best Sportsmanship, Two Best Modeled/Painted Army (one from each alliance), Two Raffle Draws (one from each alliance). No Prizes will be doubled up.
Doors Open: Saturday, July 25 @ 11:00am
Event Start Time: 11:15am, with dice rolling at 11:30am.

* Break: 2:30 – 3:00
