Join Sydney Bus Museum as we retrace the last trip operated by Sydney's original generation of Double Decker buses. Whilst Double Decker buses have since returned, none ran from 1986 until 2011. The final trip was ran on Friday 16 May 1986, ran by Atlantean's 1014 and 1179. Our buses on the night will feature replica signage from the last trip, aswell as other historical memorabilia. We will be recreating the last trip, a 189 express to Avalon on the Northern Beaches. There will be photo opportunities throughout the trip including on the return. A short 1 hour dinner break will be available at Mona Vale.
