40 Hours Devotion

The "Forty Hours Devotion" is a tradition which St. Phillip Neri introduced to Rome as a means of combatting the sinful excesses of the Carnevale and preparing for Lent through intense adoration of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. We invite you to do the same and to sign up for one, or more, thirty minute sessions of eucharistic adoration.
For continuous Exposition to occur, there must be at least two people adoring in every session. Each thirty minute session has two "tickets" available. Please sign up for one of the slots that need tickets, and of course, feel free to come at any point during the forty hours.
You can sign up at tinyurl.com/sta40hrs2024
Over the course of the devotion, there are several special moments.:
Sunday, 11 February
- 7.30 PM Opening Mass of the Forty Hours
Monday, 12 February
- 8:00 AM Mass for the Most Holy Eucharist Sacrament
Tuesday, 13 February
- 8:00 AM Mass for Peace
- 7:00 PM Closing of Forty Hours with Solemn Benediction
Join us for this season of grace for our parish and community.
