About this Event
invites Ukrainians and their friends to a commemorative event marking the sad 4th anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion and 12 years of war in Ukraine. On this day, we gather to honour the memory of those who have fallen and to express our continued support for Ukraine.
We invite you to watch the documentary “Palyanytsia” as part of the International Film Marathon , dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“Palyanytsia” (2025, 64 minutes) is a powerful and deeply moving documentary about war, art, and inner transformation. The film follows two American street artists who travel to Ukraine in an attempt to comprehend the reality of war through art. Their journey across Ukrainian cities — from Kyiv to Kharkiv — becomes an encounter with human resilience, pain, and truth. It challenges their worldview and raises profound questions about responsibility, choice, and humanity.
“Palyanytsia” is a film about art as a means of reflection — and about a Ukraine that is impossible not to feel.
