Want to get your brain and body moving and meet new friends? Scottish Country Dance is a social dance form a bit like contra, but with more footwork. The name of the game is fun!Start at the very beginning, with no partner or experience necessary. If you can walk briskly, you can dance!
This four-week class meets every Sunday at the Athens Community Center between February 1 and February 22. Each week we'll be building on the previous week's session, so drop-ins aren't possible. (However, if you need to miss a single class, you'll be fine.)
(3 - 4 pm is a bonus hour for intermediate dancers. Also, if you're an experienced dancer coming from out of town who'd like to drop in, just let me know!)

Attire: Clothes you can move in! Sneakers or ghillies are great on your feet. Dresses, kilts, shorts, or yoga pants are all perfect.
