4-H Lamb Camp

4-H Lamb Camp is the perfect place for youth aged 9-12 to experience the joy and wonder of these beautiful farm animals! Over 5 days, we'll dive into the world of lambs, learning about their lives, their care, and the important role they play on the farm.We will end out week with our annual Goat and Lamb Camp Show on Friday evening.

Prepare for a week packed with lamb-tastic activities:

• Meet the lambs: Get up close and personal with our lambs! Learn their names, discover their unique personalities.
• Lamb care 101: Discover what it takes to care for lambs, from feeding and watering to grooming their fluffy fleece. You'll get to participate in hands-on activities and learn what it takes to keep them happy and healthy.
• From fleece to fabric: Explore the amazing journey of wool, from the sheep's fleece to the clothes we wear. We'll learn about shearing, spinning, and maybe even try our hand at some simple weaving or felting.
• Farm to table: Discover the connection between lambs and the food we eat. Learn about how lambs contribute to a healthy farm ecosystem.
• Lamb games and activities: Participate in fun and engaging games and activities centered around lambs, like "shepherd and sheep" games, lamb-themed crafts, and more.
• Arts and crafts: Get creative with wool and other materials to make your own lamb-themed projects to take home as a souvenir of your farm adventure.

Our experienced and caring staff will provide a safe and educational environment where kids can connect with these gentle creatures and learn about life on the farm. Get ready for a week filled with cuddles, learning, and unforgettable memories at Lamb Camp!

All youth must be registered in 4-H Online to attend this camp.
