Monday, May 11- We depart Farragut (JCPenney, 11534 Parkside Dr) at 7am and Knoxville (Walmart-3051 Kinzel Way) at 8am and journey to beautiful Pennsylvania Amish Country. Upon arrival to the Lancaster area at 6pm we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant then check into our hotel for our 3 night stay.Tuesday, May 12- Today is all about the Amish Experience as we tour the countryside, have a question and answer session with an amish couple, and free time to shop local markets before ending the day with an Amish style diner.
Wednesday, May 13- After breakfast we visit The Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, the site of America's first commercial pretzel bakery. The building at 219 E. Main Street holds an even longer history. Built in 1784 by Peter Kreiter, the house is one of the original structures in Lititz and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While on our tour you will get to try your hand at pretzel twisting! Next is free time to enjoy lunch on your own and shopping local vendors. This afternoon we take in the amazing production of Joshua at Sight & Sound Theater. From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, journey alongside the people of Israel as they navigate their new-found freedom. Joshua is a miraculous adventure for the whole family.
Thursday, May 14- Today is spent traveling back home after we depart our hotel at 8am. We return to Knoxville by 6pm.
