About the Chef:
Joe began his cooking career in the mid-90's in Metro Phoenix Arizona at a small Italian fine dining restaurant moving on to complete a culinary apprenticeship. After his apprenticeship he studied, Italian, Spanish, Pacific Rim, and Japanese in Scottsdale. He grew up with heavy Hispanic food roots in his family and inherited a passion for food from his grandmother's and parents. Since he's been in Louisville he has worked with La Chasse as a cook and Chef de Cuisine, Coal's Artisan Pizza as exec chef, Ready Set Prep'd as a cook and is currently with Levy at Kentucky Center for the arts. He says nothing brings him more joy than cooking food for other food lovers except his two dogs Sonny and Indy.
