Contra dancing is a lively, social folk dance where partners form long lines and dance to traditional live music. Related to square dancing, English Country dance and Ceili dance, this dance form is a time-honored way of having serious fun.
No partners necessary. Beginners welcome. All dances taught and called. Newer dancers should arrive early for instructions on the basics.
Suggested admission $10 sliding scale. Tips for the band are appreciated.
