For our third iteration, celebrate the voices of the next generation with a summit by and for the youth of our community.In partnership with the Youth Initiative of Race Matters for Juvenile Justice (RMJJ) , our 3rd Annual Youth Explosion Summit will highlight the voices, reflections, and talents of young people with collaborative art, networking, and community conversation.
The 2024 theme is CommYOUnity Building . Our focus will include creating a collective definition of community, understanding the importance of civic engagement, enhancing community awareness, and more.
This summit is a collection of programming that will inspire students as they prepare to head back to school. Participants in the summit will connect with community leaders and potential mentors, envision a thriving community together, and create artwork that celebrates their authentic selves.
Although it is for the entire family to enjoy, this summit is designed for middle and high school-aged youth to shine by way of both artistic and activist expression, and for this reason, are especially encouraged to take part.
The summit will include small bites and special giveaways!
All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times while guests of the Gantt.
