ROCband is Rochester City School District's very first district-wide modern band ensemble directed by Scott Weber, Anastasia Polashenski, Oliver Smith & Paige Lee. Serving grades 7-12 and open to any school in the district, ROCband gives RCSD secondary students a chance to be the rockstars they always dreamed of. Students perform on guitar, bass, drum set, keyboard, ukulele, and vocals, manage their setlists and are actively involved in each rehearsal.
The third annual ROCband Music Festival on April 26th brings these talented students together featuring a short set from the directors. Come enjoy an afternoon of incredible live music with a student run merch table at your favorite music venue, Abilene Bar & Lounge. $5 at the door and all proceeds benefit future performance opportunities for the rock stars of ROCband!
