Join us to celebrate our 3rd Annual Milkweed and Cookies event. Register at https://forms.gle/X8P2qHvqnEbz4xHY9 to claim your *FREE* native plant garden - *a $20 refundable deposit will be collected at time of registration. This fee will be fully refunded the day of the event when you pick-up your garden. REGISTRARTION IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE PLANTS! We have a NEW garden option this year, choose from:
1) Sun / Part Sun Garden
- Swamp Milkweed, Purple Prairie Clover, Prairie Dropseed, Sky Blue Aster, Foxglove Beardtongue, and Gray Goldenrod
2) Ground Cover (Sun / Part Sun) Garden
- Purple Poppy Mallow, Wild Strawberry, Wild Petunia, Self Heal, Missouri Evening Primrose, and Prairie Spiderwort
3) Part Sun / Shade Garden
- Golden Alexander, Calico Beardtongue, Blue Mistflower, Virginia Wild Rye, Heart-leaf Aster, and Wild Columbine
Gardens will be available for the first 160 households who register. Registration and refundable payment is required to reserve your plants!
A Vendor fair with local non-profits and businesses, a raffle, a cookie decorating station, and three speaker presentations will all be available during this event.

1) 12:00PM - 12:20PM - Award for Elizabeth Hilkemann for Nebraska moth discovery and short presentation about Nebraska Lepidoptera website
2) 12:30PM - 1:15PM - Lance Brisbois, Golden Hills RC&D - "Importance of Local Ecotype Plants in the Heartland"
3) 1:30PM - 2:15PM - Michelle Brannen, Benson Bounty - "Edible & Medicinal Native Plants"
4) 2:30PM - 3:15PM - Jennifer Hopwood, Xerces Society - "The Night Shift: Nocturnal Pollinators at Work"
