Join us for an exciting in-person event, the 3rd Annual Martha's Vineyard Black Book Festival. The MVBBF is located on the beautiful Martha’s Vineyard Island where Black families historically vacation each summer. This is a unique opportunity for both aspiring and well-established Black authors in fiction, non-fiction, young adult, and children to support, share, and celebrate Black literary excellence. There will be panel discussions, fireside chats, and appetizers. Don't miss out on this exciting event celebrating Black voices in literature!
DOORS OPEN at 11:30 am.
NO Parking at Venue: The Island Inn Conference Center parking is only available for registered hotel guests. There is NO parking at the Island Inn Conference Center for MVBBF attendees.
Shuttle Bus Option:
Park your car at the Oak Bluffs School, 50 Tradewinds Road, Oak Bluffs. Parking is in the back of the building.
The Shuttle Bus will depart from Oak Bluffs School every 15 - 20 minutes starting 11 am - 1 pm and drop off at the Island Inn Conference Center.
Returning to Oak Bluffs School: The Shuttle Bus will depart from the Island Inn Conference Center back to the Oak Bluffs School every 15 - 20 minutes starting 5 pm.
Rideshare Option:
When taking a Rideshare to and from the Island Inn Conference Center, for drop off, it is best to exit the Rideshare at Noman’s Restaurant Parking Lot and it is a short walk up to the Island Inn Conference Center Entrance.
Plan for traffic on the island.
The Island Inn Conference Center is a 20-minute walk from the center of Oak Bluffs. It is also adjacent to Noman's restaurant and a 10-minute walk to nearby beaches.
