We’re excited to invite all riders—couples and singles alike—to join us for a fun and scenic day on the stunning Harris Chain of Lakes in the Mt. Dora, Leesburg, and Eustis areas. This ride promises breathtaking views, unique experiences, and great company.
Itinerary:
We’ll kick things off at the Lake Eustis Boat Ramp in Tavares and head to Lake Dora, where we’ll stop to check out the charming Mt. Dora Lighthouse. From there, we’ll cruise through the famous Dora Canal, known for its lush surroundings and tree canopies. Make sure to have your cameras ready for some fantastic photo and video opportunities!
After exploring Lake Dora and the canal, we’ll cross back into Lake Eustis and head toward Haines Creek, which connects to Lake Griffin. For those who haven’t experienced a channel lock before, this is the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience with one as we navigate the Haines Creek Lock.
Once through, we’ll trek into the Ocklawaha River and stop for lunch at JD Birds, where we’ll enjoy delicious food and some awesome giveaways.
