Boots on the Ground and Fire in Our Hearts: A Daily Practice of Joyful Rebellion
Sunday, November 2, 2025
The Freedom Concert is more than music—it’s a movement. Each year, we gather as one community: our neighbors in Rogers Park and North of Howard, along with surrounding neighborhoods, local businesses, grassroots organizations, communities of faith, and partners who stand with A Just Harvest in the fight for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
This year’s theme, “Boots on the Ground and Fire in our Hearts: A Daily Practice of Joyful Rebellion,” calls us to celebrate the joy, resilience, and collective power that fuel our work for justice.
This free and open-to-all event invites neighbors of every age to come together for an afternoon of community, connection, and celebration. Guests will experience inspiring performances (artists to be announced), storytelling, and opportunities to engage with the mission of A Just Harvest. Funds raised through the 2025 Freedom Concert will directly support our work to feed the hungry, fight for equity, and build pathways toward economic opportunity.
RSVP today for free admission and receive a complimentary raffle ticket for our Freedom Concert Holiday Giveaway. Come ready to celebrate, connect, and be part of a community powered by joy and justice—you belong here.
