Join us in person for the 3rd Annual Dr. Adam McCray Memorial Day Event.
Lace up your hiking shoes and join us at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Trailhead in Peoria for a meaningful Memorial Day centered on remembrance, connection, and raising awareness for mental health.
Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply looking to take part in something meaningful, this event is open to service members, veterans, families, and community members alike.
Event Agenda
10:00 AM – Kickoff Gathering
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Trailhead, Peoria. Meet at the northwest corner of W Jomax Rd & N Dysart Rd.
10:15 AM – Memorial Hike Begins
Participants will hike together in remembrance and reflection.
10:45 AM – 12:00 PM – Community Meet-Up

Honoring Dr. Adam McCray
Dr. Adam McCray was a beloved psychologist, professor, husband, father, and friend who dedicated decades to serving veterans and their families. He lost his battle with depression in December 2024, leaving behind his wife and two children.
His legacy lives on through service, compassion, and advocacy for mental health.
