Kick off the holiday with a community 5K, benefiting the Mayor's "Stay Safe, Bluffton!" campaign and student scholarships that promote safe driving. Make plans to run, jog, or walk at New Riverside Barn Park on Thursday, July 2, at 7 PM.
All ages and skill levels are welcome.
The first 400 runners will receive a Bluffton Independence Day 5K race shirt.
AWARDS:
The Mayor's Cup will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. Custom medals will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and the top 3 division winners.
12U, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ Top 3 Dogs.
• Winners receive the "Mayor's Cup," with names engraved and displayed at Town Hall.

Free Kid's Fun Run - "Chase Uncle Sam":
Calling all kids 8 and under! Join us for the “Chase Uncle Sam” Kids Fun Run — a fun run around the park where kids will try to catch Uncle Sam himself!
Patriotic Costume Contest:
Show off your red, white, and blue!
Dress in your best patriotic gear for a chance to win our Patriotic Costume Contest. Stars, stripes, Uncle Sam hats, tutus, capes — the more creative the better! The winner will receive the Grand Prize: a gift card to a local restaurant.
