About this Event
Fred Hutch Cancer Center and UW Medicine, in collaboration with the Black and African-descent Collaborative for Prostate Cancer Action (BACPAC) and ZERO Prostate Cancer, invite you to the 3rd Annual BACPAC Prostate Cancer Community Research Symposium. This is a free event that brings together community members, advocates, researchers and clinicians to promote education and action around prostate-cancer equity in the Black community. Prostate-cancer equity means that everyone should have a fair opportunity to prevent, find, treat and survive prostate cancer, regardless of race, sexual orientation, financial resources, physical abilities or where they live. The symposium will also provide an opportunity to engage in co-learning designed to facilitate greater awareness and understanding between patients, clinicians and researchers.
This event is open to Fred Hutch and/or UW Medicine as well as external patients and their caregivers.
