3rd & 5th Grade Orientation Information Night
Join us for an important and informative evening designed to support your scholar’s academic success! During this session, we will review key expectations for 3rd and 5th grade, including an overview of North Carolina’s Read to Achieve program.
This program, is a part of the Excellent Public Schools Act, ensures that all students are reading at grade level by the end of third grade. Scholars who are not yet proficient on End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments will receive additional support through targeted instruction, reading camps, and other interventions. Families will also learn about promotion pathways, including mid-year promotion opportunities.
