Join Philly pub singers and guests from across the country for an early afternoon of Irish breakfast, Irish beer and spirits, and spirited carol singing!We will have a songbook including both familiar carols and rollicking fun tunes from English village and shape note traditions. Everyone is also welcome to lead their own songs of the season, either by ear or by passing out music. Instruments are not necessary but are most welcome, and many of the songs in the songbook include chords.
The singing will take place at Fergie's Pub in Center City Philadelphia, very close to City Hall. The singing room will include a full bar, and food (including a full Irish breakfast) will be available to order.
NOTE -- the regular pub sing in December will take place, irregularly, on the SECOND Monday of the month, a.k.a. the day after the pub carol sing: MONDAY, DECEMBER 8, 5:30-8:00pm at Fergie's.
