About this Event
One year ago twenty people chipped in to provide Bill with everything he needed to explore 3D printing. Now it's time to share what he learned. He'll cover everything from 3D modeling with Autodesks simplified Tinkercad to printing with AOSEED X-Maker. This will be an open forum in Bill's family Mini Art Gallery. Text questions for FAQ - (206) 498-9208.

What Bill will cover
Host: Bill Ritchie
Info: It's expected to be informal, but likely it will be first 3D modeling, making a simple shape fast, such as a cookie with a bite out of it. Then transmitting (uploading via WiFI) to the printer a few feet away. A small simple shape might take 5 to 10 minutes. This will suffice as an overview, so try to be on time. After everyone has had a chance to "get it," then we can go on to deeper things like costs, learning curves, online support, the companies involved, and your host's reasons for giving a year to this project.
