38th Annual Guardsmen Sports Auction: Bidding for a Brighter Future

The Guardsmen, in partnership with the Giants Community Fund, are taking over Splash Sports Bar at Thrive City to raise $150,000 in a single night. Our mission is clear: we are aiming to fund 70 of the 200+ life-changing scholarships we’ve committed to providing for Bay Area youth in 2026.

Whether you’re a die-hard sports fan or a champion for our community, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Get up close and personal with Bay Area sports history! We will be joined by some of our favorite local celebrities, including:

• Jeff Garcia: Former 49ers QB (1999–2003) and 4× Pro Bowl selection.
• George Kontos: Former Giants Reliever, NBC Sports Bay Area Analyst.
• Eddie Solaeche: 2016 Spanish Olympian, Men’s 200m Individual Medley.
• Guy Haberman: The Voice of KNBR’s Niners Coverage.
• Susan Hagey: Stanford Hall of Fame athlete, 3x Wimbledon.
• Ashley Adamson: Lead Anchor, Big Ten Network.
• Steve Scott: Warriors PA Announcer.
• Juan Valdivieso: Two time Olympic Swimmer.

We’ve curated several ways for you to get involved, have fun, and help us lock in 70 scholarships for local students:

• Live Auction: Bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Group bidding is encouraged!
• Silent Auctions: Bid on exclusive sports memorabilia and luxury items throughout the night.
• Fund-A-Future (100% Tax-Deductible): The most direct way to impact a child's life. No goods or services are exchanged, making this 100% tax-deductible.
• Interactive "Pay-to-Play" Games: Put your skills to the test for a cause! A fee enters you into our high-score competitions with unique prizes for the winners. Enjoy a "Closest to the Pin" competition on the golf simulators and show off your jumper for the top spot on the leaderboard on pop-a-shot basketball (Prizes details TBD).
• Luxury Raffle: Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a high-end, luxury experience (Prize details TBD).

VIP Access

• Early Access: Doors open for VIPs at 5:30 PM.
• Exclusive Space: Access to the private second-floor lounge.
• Premium Hospitality: Open Bar and Heavy Hors d’oeuvres included.

General Admission

• Entry: Access to the venue starting at 6:00 PM.
• Hospitality: One (1) drink ticket and Heavy Hors d’oeuvres included.

Elevate your impact and treat your guests to the ultimate sports fan experience. We are offering exclusive sponsorship packages (ranging from $5,000 to $40,000) that kicks off the night with the Golden State MVP Experience at the world-class Chase Center. The Golden State MVP Experience includes:

• Behind-the-Scenes Facility Tour: Get an insider’s look at the home of the Warriors and Valkyries with an exclusive tour of the arena's elite facilities.
• On-Court Shoot-Around: Live out every fan’s dream—take to the hardwood for a shoot-around on the main Chase Center court.
• Sponsor Recognition: All sponsors will receive prominent recognition during the event program, on-screen digital branding, and acknowledgment in The Guardsmen’s pre and post-event messaging.

• Sales Tax: Tangible items (wine, sports memorabilia, etc.) will be shipped post-event and are subject to shipping fees and the destination's local tax rate.
• Greater Giving: All bidding and payments are handled securely via the Greater Giving platform.
• Receipts: You will receive an acknowledgment letter post-event detailing your total impact and the tax-deductible portion of your contributions.
