The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York is set to host the 38th Annual Confections in Chocolate Gala for Hope on Saturday, March 21st, 2026, at Franklin Plaza, Troy, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails featuring an open bar cocktail hour, fine dining, dancing to the music of TS Ensemble, silent auctions, and decadent chocolate desserts donated by talented pastry chefs and bakeries around the Capital Region-the highlight of the evening!

Tickets are available at a special early purchase discounted rate of $200 through March 1st, 2026. Following this date, ticket pricing will increase to $225. Registration will close on March 10th, 2026.

The 2026 Flame of Hope Award will be presented to Neurelis for their commitment over the years, which has helped the Epilepsy Foundation provide programs and services to 22 counties in New York State. This prestigious award recognizes a company or individual for their generosity and steadfast commitment to the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York.

The EFNENY team will also introduce and honor the 2026 Winning Kids, Ada Yesupriya of Albany County, and Penelope Zareski of Rensselaer County. Winning Kids are chosen each year to help raise awareness of epilepsy and to let other kids living with epilepsy know they are not alone.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder defined as having two or more recurring seizures; it can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.
