About this Event
The Midwest Region of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is excited to invite you to our 35th Annual Conference: Medicina con Amor: Sanando a Nuestra Gente. Our conference will be held on February 14th-16th, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri and will be hosted by Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Our conference represents and will host over 300 medical and pre-medical students from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Our goal is to empower students to become leaders in their communities and lead the way for advancements in Latinx health. We hope to bring together health professionals, medical students, residents, and attending physicians to provide the opportunity to build mentorship, collaboration, and community.
We will have programming targeted towards premedical and medical students, with speakers who are experts and leaders in healthcare, policy, and advocacy. The poster and oral presentation sessions will provide the opportunity for students to share their research and achievements, as well as opportunities to publish research in peer-reviewed academic journals. Our conference not only provides opportunities for professional growth but also serves as a celebration of Hispanic/Latinx culture and community!
