35 Tapes is an Oslo-based progressive rock band formed by experienced musicians from the Norwegian music scene, united by a shared love of classic progressive rock and atmospheric art rock. Their music blends Mellotron textures, analog synthesizers, layered guitars, and cinematic songwriting into immersive compositions that move between calm introspection and powerful climaxes.Band members:
- Jarle Wangen: bass, guitars, vocals
- Morten Lund: guitars, keyboards, vocals (producer)
- Jo Wang: keyboards, Therevox
- Andreas Eriksen: keyboards, percussion
- Kai Lundewall: drums, vocals

The band has received attention in the international prog scene. Prog Magazine previously highlighted the band’s debut, while reviews have compared their sound to artists like Genesis, Camel, Marillion and Talk Talk.
Germany’s Eclipsed Magazine described their music as carrying “wonderfully warm, sometimes dark sounds… not virtuosity for the sake of it, but an ethos similar to Pink Floyd, aiming to capture the right moods.”
