The Persistence of Vision Film Festival returns, a two-day event dedicated to celebrating the talent of UBC's Film Production program.
About this Event

The Persistence of Vision Film Festival is here. We invite you back to Frederic Wood Theatre to enjoy the vast variety of projects created through UBC. This year, we have 13 short films being presented. The screening schedule is as follows:

The coordinators of POV would like to acknowledge that the land on which this event will be taking place is the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations.

Night 1 will contain films with more mature subject matter. Night 2 will feature content more suitable for younger audiances.

Night 2 will include an award ceremony follwing the screening, with awards sponsored by Panavision, IATSE 891, Gearbase, etc.

We are looking forward to hosting everyone and coming together to celebrate the hard-work and talent of UBC's Film Production students and alumni!
