Directors' College is the nation’s premier executive education program for directors and C-level executives of publicly traded firms. The program addresses a broad range of problems that confront modern boards, including the board’s role in setting business strategy, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), CEO succession, techniques for controlling legal liability, challenges posed by activist investors, boardroom dynamics, and contemporary challenges including AI, the state of the macroeconomy, the politicization of the corporation, and emerging ransomware and cybersecurity threats.

NEW FOR 2026: EXPAND YOUR DIRECTORS’ COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Stanford Directors’ College runs from the evening of June 22, 2026, through June 24, 2026. This year, attendees can enhance their experience with one optional add-on program and excursions on June 22, 2026. Each add-on includes a special breakfast on June 22.

  • Directors' College 101 (DC101): Designed for new directors but open to all participants, Directors' College 101 features a primer on fiduciary duties, a corporate governance simulation, and a workshop on business leadership in the age of AI. Each session is adapted from popular Stanford University courses.
  • Golf at Stanford Golf Course: Play nine holes at the iconic Stanford Golf Course alongside other Directors’ College participants and select VIP guests. Because the course is not open to the public, this is a rare opportunity to experience a true Stanford tradition and a truly unique networking experience.
  • Art Tour and Wine Tasting: Enjoy a private tour of Stanford’s renowned Cantor Arts Center, followed by a corporate governance-themed wine tasting.

Partners/spouses are welcome to participate in the golf or art tour/wine tasting excursions. Partners/spouses are also welcome to attend the welcome dinner and keynote on June 22.
