30th Annual St Johns River Cleanup at Shell Harbor Park

Info: We will be cleaning the St. Johns River this year on Saturday, April 18th, just four days before Earth Day! This will be a perfect day to show our river some love by helping to remove trash from the waterway and the surrounding land to prevent it from washing into the water. Join us at Shell Harbor Park located at 1800 Shell Harbor Rd, Pierson from 8 AM to 11 AM to help make the waterway safer for both people and aquatic organisms. This year we have a travel mug as a thank you gift for your participation. For the young participants, we will be offering a plush bald eagle while supplies last. We are encouraging boaters of all types to join in as well. Participants should bring water to drink and wear sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito spray or lotion, work gloves, and comfortable clothing. You may also bring rakes, shovels, trash grabbers, canoes, or boats. We will have trash bags for you to use.
