We are looking for highly energetic, charismatic, inspiring leaders. A job as an instructor at 305 is the perfect compliment to your career. We are highly supportive of artists and traveling schedules. Educationally, our extensive training program -- at no cost to you -- also offers a unique foot in the door into the world of fitness that costs trainers thousands of dollars to attain on their own. The hours are consistent and part-time.

In your audition, we will ask you to perform basic moves (grapevine, step-touch) in your own style, as if you were leading a class.
Audition Prep:
In your audition, we will ask you to perform basic moves (grapevine, step-touch) in your own style, as if you were leading a class. We encourage all candidates to take our class before auditioning to get a sense for the style of our class. You can visit 305 Fitness on YouTube to get familiar.
Training:
We are estimating 15-20 hours of training. We'll pay instructors $20 an hour to learn the choreography and how to lead a 305 class. These sessions will be in person and delivered in 3-hour intensives every week during August. Over these sessions, we offer best-in-class fitness education worth thousands of dollars at no cost to our trainees.
Training will include unique educational workshops with our master instructors and other professionals covering not only the class format, but also motivational and psychological training. This includes a ~4 hour virtual training with our Founder (in addition to in person training) and the requirement to read two books which will be provided to you: "Radical Acceptance," by Tara Breach, and "Let's get Physical," by Danielle Friedman. Please note, this will be administered as mandatory virtual training Sunday, July 28th, 8am- 1pm PT and Monday, July 29th, 8am - 10am PT.
Each new instructor will have the opportunity to lead a mock class with feedback from a seasoned instructor prior to leading their own classes.
Benefits:
It is our full intention to hire everyone who completes training as an instructor.
Once hired as an instructor, you will be compensated $60 an hour as your base salary, with an additional +$3 per head (up to 10 people) you bring in. Meaning, if you were bringing 10 people to each class (we will provide a promo code), you can make up to $90 per class. Once we open a studio space, rates will range by instructor experience with plenty of room to grow.
There are a number of opportunities at 305 including the unique ability to branch into fitness, to work at an exciting start-up with like-minded people, and the chance to inspire others to move their bodies. July 13th are Round 1 Auditions. From here we will take a select group forward for 1:1 interviews and training with the Founder as Round 2. At which point the final selection will be made by July 31st and new instructors notified on in-person training dates for August.
