This training is for yoga teachers who are ready to hold space with skill and sensitivity, who want to observe more clearly, cue more intuitively, and connect more authentically.
If you're seeking a supportive, engaged community of teachers and a place to grow through shared practice, honest inquiry, and embodied learning, this next step is for you.
This immersive 300-hour training is an opportunity to explore yoga's rich and layered teachings through the lens of personal transformation and professional growth. Whether you're seeking to evolve your own practice, strengthen your teaching, or connect to the deeper purpose of your path, this program is designed to meet you there.
Led by Jade Skinner, E-RYT 500 of Sacred Jade Yoga, and supported by a faculty of skilled teachers, this training blends traditional knowledge with modern application. You'll be mentored through eight months of study, self-inquiry, embodied experience, and real-world integration.
Why commit to an advanced training?
An advanced training builds upon the foundational principles introduced in a 200-hour program and brings you into a deeper relationship with the subtle practices and philosophy of yoga.
Through this 300-hour curriculum, you'll:
Learn to think more critically and compassionately as both student and teacher
Develop intuitive skill in observation, cueing, and presence-based teaching
Broaden your understanding of yoga history, anatomy, energetics, and voice
Evolve your role from guiding postures to becoming a holistic, embodied teacher
This training goes beyond credentials, it invites you into a deeper unfolding—an invitation to show up fully: curious, committed, and open to transformation. With every step, you're invited to lean into your practice, expand your perspective, and show up with presence and compassion. It's a path shaped by self-inquiry, discipline, and discovery. If you're ready to deepen your practice, refine your voice, and grow into the teacher you're meant to be, this journey is for you.
What You'll Learn
This training is rooted in both tradition and innovation—designed to help you integrate, embody, and skillfully share the teachings of yoga in a way that is intelligent, inclusive, and alive.
The Art Of Teaching: Intuition & Insight
Learn to read students with sensitivity and skill. Explore how structured, consistent practice helps refine your perception, and how to hold space with clarity, presence, and compassion. This module supports your growth in observation, intuitive cueing, and empowering students to tap into their inner teacher.
Philosophy Through Time: Texts, Context, and Conversation
Unpack the evolution of yoga philosophy through different historical and cultural lenses. Engage in dynamic discussion around classical texts and commentaries, and develop your own relationship to yogic teachings through reflection and inquiry.
Advanced Anatomy & Embodied Mechanics
Deepen your knowledge of movement and the human form. Learn how spiral theory, joint function, and body relationships support both stability and freedom in asana. Gain tools for intelligent sequencing and safe, adaptive movement through the lens of applied anatomy.
Ayurveda: Living in Rhythm
Explore the foundational principles of Ayurveda—the science of life—and how they inform both yoga practice and daily living. This module introduces practical tools for self-care, seasonal living, and aligning your teaching with the rhythms of nature.
Supportive Practices: Trauma Awareness & Yoga Nidra
Understand the relationship between language, nervous system response, and the felt experience of safety. Learn how trauma-informed teaching, meditation, and Yoga Nidra can create accessible and healing spaces for all students, regardless of background or ability.
Living Yoga: Off the Mat & Into the World
Explore how to embody your practice beyond the postures. Learn how to direct the mind with intention, cultivate presence in daily life, and live your yoga with grounded awareness and purpose.
Subtle Body: Pranayama & Meditation
Bridge the physical and the energetic through practices that touch the breath, mind, and deeper layers of being. Study the koshas (sheaths), learn to guide pranayama safely, and deepen your understanding of meditation and the inner landscape.
The Power of Sanskrit: Language & Vibration
Connect with the roots of the practice through Sanskrit. Learn correct pronunciation, the meaning behind mantra and sutra, and how sound influences consciousness. Develop confidence in integrating Sanskrit into your classes in an authentic and respectful way.
Multi-Level Teaching: Embodied & Inclusive Language
Learn to guide diverse students with presence, awareness, and adaptability. This area of focus explores how to shift language, pacing, and instruction based on what you observe—offering hands-on support to one student while maintaining clear guidance for the group. You'll refine your ability to balance individual attention with group cohesion in ways that are intuitive, inclusive, and sustainable.
Assists & Adjustments: Embodied Support & Skillful Touch
Assisting is the art of supporting a student's experience through intentional, embodied presence. In this area of learning, you'll explore the distinction between assists and adjustments: assists offer support or guidance without altering form, while adjustments are typically hands-on and aim to refine alignment or deepen awareness. You'll learn to apply both approaches with clarity, sensitivity, and respect—always prioritizing consent, context, and the unique needs of each student.
The Professional Path: Ethics, Marketing, & Private Clients
Explore how to build a teaching career rooted in clarity, ethics, and authenticity. This area of focus offers tools for self-marketing, growing your client base, teaching private or small group sessions, and understanding business structures that support your path forward.
