Shortly after the Pritchards moved in, strange occurrences began. These included a fine chalk-like dust falling from mid-air, pools of water mysteriously appearing, and green foam oozing from taps and toilets.
Escalating Phenomena:
The activity intensified over time, with lights turning on and off, furniture moving, objects being thrown around the house, and loud banging noises. Plants were said to leap from their pots, and photographs were slashed.
"Fred" the Poltergeist: The family nicknamed the entity "Fred," sometimes referred to in the press as "Mr. Nobody" or "The Black Monk of Pontefract" after an apparition reportedly seen wearing dark robes.
