Beginner sewing workshop - Learn to sew - 3 week course
Come join our beginner sewing workshop and learn the art of sewing in just 4 weeks! Whether you've never touched a needle or have some basic knowledge, this course is perfect for you. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of sewing, from threading a needle to creating your own beautiful projects.
At our cozy venue, you'll have the opportunity to learn and practice your sewing skills in a relaxed and friendly environment over 3 consecutive weeks.
All sewing materials and tools will be provided, so you can focus on honing your skills and unleashing your creativity.
What will you be making:
Week 1: Introduction to the sewing machine, how to thread, wind the bobbin and understand the various stitches and accessories
Week 2: Build on the skills learnt in week 1 and make yourself a cushion cover. You will learn about fabrics suitable for this project, follow a pattern and cut & sew your envelope cushion cover
Week 3: Step it up a level and make a tote bag with a handy pocket and closure.

What you need to bring:
- Your own sewing machine with its power cable
- Threads and a sewing kit (you can buy one from us if you want)
- Notepad and pen

Please make sure the machine works and has been recently serviced. Please bring along the manual and all the accessories that came with it including spare bobbins and the bobbin case if applicable.
Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, as we have machines you can borrow for a small fee.
