Many cultures refer to May's full moon as the Flower Moon due to the abundant blooming that occurs as spring gears up. This year's flower moon is in Sagittarius, the ninth astrological sign. Because of Sagittarius's philosophical and adventurous nature, this year's flower moon is an excellent period to reassess and recommit to your long-term goals, travel plans, and personal beliefs. In astrology, the flower moon in Sagittarius symbolizes growth, discovery, and the pursuit of truth. Due to Sagittarius's optimistic and upbeat nature, the 2024 flower moon may manifest a feeling of hopefulness, excitement, and a yearning for fresh experiences. We might be overwhelmed with ideas and information, but the Sagittarius Full Moon helps us focus on long-term goals and higher principles rather than getting lost in a flood of small details.
To maximize the benefits we will have a 20 min. yoga warmup followed by a 25 - 30 min. layout/relaxation of 3 Gongs Sound Healing. You will relax and enjoy One Deep Healing Experience as the Gongs create a symphony of spontaneous, vibratory tones washing over your mind and body, penetrating every cell to support relaxation, rejuvenation and healing on multiple levels. Afterwards, continue to relax to the Koshi Chimes as you slowly come back to awareness of your body. You do not want to miss this heavenly experience into profound relaxation.
Body temperature may drop during deep relaxation so, bring yoga mat, blanket and socks. Gong Bath is a sound massage for the mind and body. This is a soft shamanic drumming rhythm slowly building to a crescendo to release tension, sooth the nervous system and relax your brain. Sound washes over you enabling deep healing, block clearing, tension release, bringing harmony to your whole body for improved health. It’s common to twitch, realign, even sleep during a sound healing, and have images or feel you are on an inner journey. To maximize the healing effect, before the Gong Bath, add an intention and visualize healing and/or positive outcome for any situation in your life. The sound will carry you beyond your fears.
