Founder of Amity Yoga Wellness, Wendy offers mindful, heart-centred yoga experiences for all levels. Her teaching blends traditional Hatha yoga, pranayama, and restorative practices that balance energy and promote deep relaxation.

Emma Sinfield – Mountain Leader

Emma brings her expertise in mindful walking and local knowledge of the Snowdonia mountains, guiding safe and soulful hikes through one of the UK’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Friday 10 April 2026

  • 4 pm: Check in Snowdonia Mountain Lodge
  • Arrivals, tea & refreshments
  • 5 pm: Hatha yoga, pranayama (yogic breathing), meditation
  • 7 pm: Dinner, weekend introduction & welcomes
  • 8.30 pm Soothing & balancing pranayama, deep relaxation, yoga nidra


Saturday 11 April 2026

  • 7.30 am: Meditation, pranayama & hatha yoga,
  • 8.45 am: Breakfast
  • 10.20 am Guided walk with Emma Sinfield, Mountain Leader from Snowdonia Mountain Lodge, to the Ogwen Valley, a stunning part of Snowdonia National Park
  • Packed lunch on the walk
  • 4 pm Free time to relax after the walk at the Lodge
  • 6.00 pm Restorative hatha yoga, soothing & balancing pranayama & meditation
  • 7.30 pm: Dinner

Good food, a comfortable room and great company are key for my ideal yoga retreat, and Wendy's Snowdonia Yoga & Walking Retreat 2025 ticked all the boxes! The combination with the mountain walk was great for mindfulness. This was my second time attending Wendy's retreat weekend, following last year's Nab Cottage retreat in the Lake District during a beautiful early autumn.

This time, the early spring season surrounded by the spectacular Snowdonia mountains was incredibly refreshing. These locations are fantastic for Wendy's yoga and meditation. Her attentive approach to every step of our practice always gives me comfort and strength, helping me release tension from busy working days. The outdoor yoga and meditation were extra special, especially with the unbelievably beautiful weather - it felt like a dream!

The mountain walk, guided by Emma, was great fun - challenging but very satisfying. I appreciate both of you for your warm and positive guidance through the retreat. It was also so nice to meet lovely yoga friends, with lots of inspiring stories, laughter and singing!

The venue at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge was so peaceful, and it was wonderful to see such a great community. Big thanks for the delicious meals and warm hospitality! After the retreat, my mind and body felt so refreshed and calm. The memory of the retreat will make me smile for a long time! Thank you both, Wendy and Emma, for creating such a special experience.

Thank you very much for what was a wonderful yoga, meditation and walking retreat. The location was stunning, it was so good for the soul being surrounded by the amazing landscape that Snowdonia National Park offers. I had an amazing view from my bedroom window!

The Yoga and Meditation guidance and teaching was just perfect for me. Wendy has a lovely style that is both supportive and motivating. Her soothing voice during meditation takes you to a calm, peaceful place. I have returned relaxed and inspired to be more consistent with both my yoga and meditation practice.

A Wonderful experience with great company. Wendy is a very knowledgeable and attentive Yoga Instructor. This was my first retreat and I was feeling a little apprehensive. Her shared knowledge will last me a life time and her calming voice was a treat for Yoga Nidra.

Wendy is a BWY Hatha Yoga Teacher and the Founder of Amity Yoga Wellness. With over 17 years of experience as a dedicated teacher and advanced practitioner, she has been guiding students through yoga, mindfulness, and holistic wellbeing.

As a Retreat Leader, Wendy hosts rejuvenating retreats across the UK and Spain, offering a range of holistic and wellbeing experiences, from workshops to corporate wellness events. Based in Liverpool, UK, she brings a grounded yet inspiring presence to her community.

Her teaching blends traditional Hatha Yoga rooted in the eight limbs of yoga with a flowing Vinyasa style, creating practices that are well-paced, mindful, and attuned to each student’s rhythm. Sessions include meditation, yogic breathing (pranayama), and deep relaxation, supporting both physical vitality and inner calm.

Wendy continues to expand her own practice through advanced pranayama and yogic studies with Yoga Elder Sama Fabian. Passionate about sharing yoga’s transformative benefits, she encourages others to cultivate a daily practice that enhances overall wellbeing and harmony in life.
